I've stumbled a lot on the acronym MTS with respect to sample testing. Can anyone tell me
what it stands for?
Thanks in advance,
Rui Maciel
MTS is designer, developer and manufacturer of testing equipment,
hydraulic actuators and shake tables.
I think it's something like Minnesota Testing Systems? Kinda like
IBM, means something but seldom used.
www.mts.com
from their website:
MTS Systems is the leading provider of mechanical test systems for
material testing, fatigue testing and tensile testing as well as
motion simulation systems and calibration services.
interesting trivia: MTS built the Indiana Jones ride cars for
Disneyland (at least the OC, CA one)
cheers
